                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This year I'm challenging myself to get back into making music after 5 or 6 years of not doing too much. I used to have an improvisational ensemble / supergroup called <a href="https://humanenergyfield.bandcamp.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Human Energy Field</a> where anywhere from 3 - 8 members would perform on stage at once. At times it was chaos, usually it was very harmonious, but it was always an absolute blast. I really miss it, and making music by myself has never been as fun. That said, it can still be therapeutic and very rewarding. Even though I'm not classically trained and don't have a ton of fancy equipment, I've done quite a lot that I'm very proud of. All of my releases are just me, a synth (or two), and my sampler. Sometimes an effect pedal. Many of my earliest experiments were recorded directly to tape. I've been described as "ambient dance sample magic" but I think I've since gone full speed ahead on the psychedelic drone / cosmic ambient vibes. </p>
