As it was Brighton Music Conference week last week, it’s only right we shine a light on one of the city’s fastest rising producers: James Mackie. |

James only started producing at the end of 2023, but you’d never know listening to his new track “Residue.” With awesome sound design, deep grooves, and a cool piano to tie it all together, his production proves he’s not just finding his feet… he’s on a full on sprint right now! |

His debut “Euka” hit #11 on the Organic/Downtempo chart, and “Cascada” followed close behind at #12. Now with heavyweight support from legends like James Wiltshire (Freemasons), Steve Mac, and Serge Santiago, it’s clear James is carving out something special. |
