A quick update on the ongoing development on the site...
Tweaks & Fixes
I've made a couple of tweaks to the overall look and feel:
Dark mode now looks a lot cleaner on desktop, and light mode is much fresher. You can toggle dark/light mode using the button in the bottom right corner.
On mobile there's still a slight jankiness around the edges in dark mode, but thats being looked into... (EDIT - That's now fixed)
I've also been working on more speed optimisations in the back end. It's pretty fast anyway (for me at least), but please let me know how it's working for you guys. I want this running at light speed before the official launch.
Upcoming Features in the Pipeline
* Private messages/DMs are in progress and on the way. EDIT* - This is now active. You must post on the forum 5 times to unlock DMs
* GIF support for posts.
* Advanced attachments in posts (ie: Images/flyers will show up directly in the post instead of as an attachment) EDIT* - This is now active.
* Advanced emoticons and reactions.
Many more feature updates are still to come after those are done, and please let me know any suggestions you have.
All feedback is mega valuable so DM me on here if you have any ideas or extras that you want to see.
I'll be inviting more people to the forum later this week and next once more updates are added. Right now it's still exclusive to you lucky lot! 😉
