Hey all!

Big thanks for getting involved in the beta test of our new community.

The site is still under construction and there are many more things for me to add and streamline, so your feedback is very valuable to me.

This community is made for you, so have your say and let me know any features, suggestions, changes or enhancements that you feel could make it easier to navigate and make it a better experience.

As long as your suggestions are possible with the tools and knowledge that I have, I will get them worked in where possible so that we can test them.

To add suggestions, please start a separate topic in the main Forum Suggestions & Questions forum with your feature requests.

If you have multiple ideas in the same topic/post, then please bullet point them with a short explanation for each feature so that it’s easier for me to manage and add to my lists.

Big thanks again for being involved. Happy testing 😎🔥

Same mate. I'm aiming for public launch in around 4-6 weeks once the closed and open beta tests have both finished... all being well! 😎

@dhisk-jointed Yo! You can edit a post up-to 5 minutes after you posted it using the edit buttons in the bottom right corner underneath the post itself.

I'll see if this 5 minute range can be changed to a longer time too. I'll attach a screenshot of the buttons. It's the small paper and pen icon...

@dhisk-jointed

100% we can. Let me take a look where to add it. You thinking for free downloads?

For released tracks... everyone can post in The Underground - Discover New Music section, adding links to SoundCloud and YouTube (as they both show up as players on the page itself) or any other platform as links.

SoundCloud links are the best way, so that you can add your buy/link into them making them easily clickable from the post here after someone listens to it. It's easier for everyone to listen to and support/stream/buy your tracks then.

For new questions and suggestions about the forum itself as well bro, I'll be able to keep track of all the ideas and requests, and find them easier afterwards if they're all in a separate topic for each question too. Keep them coming! It's all mega helpful 🙂 You can add new topics here

@dhisk-jointed Defo! Where do you reckon would be best to put it that would make the most sense?

My train of thought was to have genres all split off into categories so that tracks are easily discoverable by the right audience who like that genre. I think just adding one section just as 'free downloads' for all genres mixed up in one could become a bit messy and unfocused?

We could just post edits/remixes in the actual genre pages in The Underground - Discover New Music section, and put 'Free Download' in the title of them? That way they will get found easier by DJs and listeners of that genre.

What do you think though?

@dhisk-jointed I've removed the time limit for editing and deleting topics and posts now. It can be done at any time 😎
