@dhisk-jointed Defo! Where do you reckon would be best to put it that would make the most sense?

My train of thought was to have genres all split off into categories so that tracks are easily discoverable by the right audience who like that genre. I think just adding one section just as 'free downloads' for all genres mixed up in one could become a bit messy and unfocused?

We could just post edits/remixes in the actual genre pages in The Underground - Discover New Music section, and put 'Free Download' in the title of them? That way they will get found easier by DJs and listeners of that genre.

What do you think though?

@dhisk-jointed Defo bro. We can also add tags to our posts so I'll see if theres a way I can get the tag list somewhere on the site so they're more visible and can be clicked on to find certain groups of things. Ideas be flowing! 😎

@dhisk-jointed Done mate. I've added a tag list in the sidebar on the right of the screen (on desktop. On mobile, scroll to the bottom of the page to see the sidebar menu)

The 20 most popular tags will show up here, and when you click on them it will open up a list of posts using that tag. Perfect for a 'free download' tag 🍺

BTW, if anyone is wondering how I get images in posts... I'm using flickr.com to host the images and copying and pasting the image address link into here.

This is just a temporary workaround while I finish adding the image embed option directly into the forum. Thats coming soon and on the ever growing list of jobs for me to tackle.

Not that anyone asked 🤣
